This privacy policy explains what information Tamriel Field Guide (tamrielfieldguide.com) collects when you visit, and how it’s used. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
Information you give us
If you email us or use a contact form on this site, we receive your name, email address and the message you write. We use these only to reply to you and to improve our guides. We don’t sell them, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. These logs help keep the site secure and working properly.
We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand which guides are useful and how people find them. These tools use cookies and collect information such as your approximate location, device type and the pages you view. They don’t tell us who you are.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for basic site functions and for analytics. Some of our tools, such as checklists, save your progress in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there when you come back. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Some features may not work fully if you do.
Advertising
We may show ads to help keep the site free. Advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn about and control personalized advertising through Google’s Ads Settings and through the opt-out tools offered by individual ad networks.
Third-party services
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may record that a font was requested from your device. Services we use are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see or delete any personal information you’ve sent us. Just reach out through our contact page or email tamrielfieldguide@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information, we’ll update this page.
